Airlines with Strange Names |
Fly with the BRA? Wait a minute, this is not a women's underwear, but the name of an airline. It was not only the BRA, there is still a 7 airline with strange names that can make you smile alone
The name of a product apparently has an important role in the success of a product, including the name of the airline. Quoted from Australia News, Tuesday (04/09/2013) the airline's real. However, many of these airlines are bankrupt. Looks like airlines are with this strange name should rethink the name they use.
First, there is the airline Wizzair of Hungary. In its online booking site, Travelers can select 'My Wizz'. Until now Wizzair is still operating properly. Wizzair is also included in the budget airline with the largest fleet in the country of origin. The idea of the name may sound effect aircraft in flight, wizz ...!
Then there is the airline from Thailand, U-Land. U-Land is the company's first budget airline in Asia. Unfortunately, this company is bankrupt. Perhaps the airline should be renamed U-Fly in order to fly.
Just try to imagine if there is another traveler who asks "What Up?" and you answer, "Up BRA." Anyone who hears about this will laugh confused and, after hearing the name of the Brazilian airline. Certainly not the case that you may fly aboard a bra (lingerie-red).
In fact, the airline has nothing to do with women's underwear. BRA is an extension of Rodo Aereo Brazil. Brazil's third largest airline in this, providing domestic flights, international, and charter. Just like U-Land, the airline also has gone out of business.
Almost equal to the BRA, airline TAP Portugal has nothing to do with tap water or tap water faucet. TAP stands for Transportes Aeros. The airline has about 80 goals of the trip in 36 countries around the world.
Then there Ransome Airlines. This is a U.S. regional airline. The airline has headquarters near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His name sounds like a ransom in English which means ransom. But, who's been kidnapped?
Switch to Russian airline, Touch and Go. Touch and Go is a charter airline that operates the aircraft Tu-154s and Tu-134. The airline had flown to several resort areas in Europe such as Cyprus and Greece. Now the airline is already bankrupt. Touch and Go name seems to really describe the business world only when nudged slightly alias will go bankrupt.
Sixth there Bonanza, old airline but okay. His name is reminiscent of the classic cowboy movies. Not one also, Bonanza is the airline which flies international and domestic flights that operate from 1945-1968 with west route in the U.S. and Mexico.
Funnily enough, the headquarters is located in Bonanza even Las Vegas, USA. Maybe that explains why his name Bonanza. There is a casino in Las Vegas named Bonanza old school.
There is another airline with the names of the more bizarre?
